Fujian Xiamen Shipping Corporation,China has been sticking to the priciple of "Safety First,Precaution Precedes" and taking serious responsibility in its execution in the company,makes pertinent preventions,reinforces safety checks,and sees to the implementtation of safety check systems.Moreover,training sessions,knoeledge quizzes,and seminars are held to improve the safety awareness among the employees.In general,the Company maintains a wonderful control of its safety production,which has provided the enterprise with good working environments for production.
  Following the requirements ordained in "International Managerment Code for the safe operation of ships and for pollution prevention"(ISM),the Company has been executing the safety managerment system(SMS) set up in 1997,and successfully passed the SMS verification of Ministry of Communication in 1999.
